As Lara continued on her quest, she discovered a giant waterfall and learned of an incomplete machine that controls it.
To complete the machine, Lara must find several missing cogs, some of which are located in a lost valley where live dinosaurs still roam.
Here, she retrieves the necessary items and discovers the Tomb of Qualopec.

03.01 - Maya God[]
Found near the cog game. It is called Kinich Ahau (K’inich Ajaw), a sun god. Picture found here. Ahau or Ajaw (modern spelling) means “king” in Mayan.
Made up of smoothed sheets and coils of coarse orange clay, this "incensario," or incense burner, depicts one of the Palenque Triad of deities that art historians call "GIII." The Maya called him Kinich Ajaw, or "Sun Lord." He is shown here with his trademark nose, and shell and fish symbols around his mouth. The stacking of faces is a hallmark of "incensarios" from the site of Palenque, where there was probably a workshop dedicated to their production. The potent effect of smoke and fragrance that would have risen from this visually provocative incense burner indeed reflects a Maya preference for ceremonial theatrics. (from here)
03.02 - king on a stele[]
This one depicts a king before a deity or a man. It is called the Moctezuma’s stone, now in the National Museum of Anthropology of Mexico. The second picture is a detailed one, and the third picture is the original stone. The stone dating back to the rule of Montecuhzoma I (1440-1469) an Aztec king of Tenochtitlan.
