Lara Croft get access to the archaeological dig thanks to the pass of Margot Carvier. In the handbook of Werner von Croy is some information written about the mysterious puzzle. She has to solve the puzzle to get access to the next level.

11.01 - warning signs generator room[]
Two warning signs in the big generator room.
11.02 - Generator[]
Because the level is quite dark there are a lot of generators. These generators provide power to the lights. The branch is Generac Power Systems[1] and the model is G1000.
11.03 - Desktop computer[]
At the working place of the archaeological dig team there is a monitor. If you look close to the monitor you see a version of Outlook. It is Outlook 2000.[2]
11.04 - Floor plan[]
Map making of the object you want to dig is a neat plan. It has been used in archaeology and in other branches.
It is a plan of the archaeological dig connected with the Louvre. The big square is the dig, the two rectangular rooms are the store rooms before entering this level.
11.05 - Boxes[]
There are some boxes with the text: "ST-27", "Wheel-Barrow", "Made in ...". The text is very blurry to see. A wheelbarrow is used in gardening but also at archaeology. The ST-27 refers to the wheel.[3]
In fact: there is a wheel-barrow in the pit. The wheel looks like a caterpillar licensed wheel-barrow.
11.06 - More warning sings[]
More signs near the fence. In the retail version of The Angel of Darkness there was also one side that the signs can be seen, in the working area not the study area.
11.07 - The puzzle[]
Lara is standing for the puzzle. No spoiler alert for those who want to play the game. It has everything to do with the symbols on the puzzle. Most of them look like Alchemical symbols and some don't.

Lara is the one and only daredevil. She can stand on the x-ray machine without a problem.

11.11 - Beta board[]
The first time you have to use the card of Margot Carvier, there is a board for the entrance of the archaeological dig. When you look close enough you'll see on the third image a board with signs. This board tells something about the machine and what signs you have to use. This sign was removed in the retail version. But can be seen in the prima's official strategy guide.[6] It was replaced in the notes of Von Croy in his notebook.
